Where exactly is the truck parked?

We're at 10951 N State Hwy 78 in Lavon — right on State Hwy 78. Watch for the trailer with the red bull badge and the smoke rolling. If you're using GPS, search "One's BBQ Lavon."

What are your hours?

Tuesday through Saturday, 11 AM to 8 PM. We're closed Sunday and Monday — that's when the pit gets cleaned and the family gets fed. Heads up: popular items can sell out before close.

Do I need to order ahead, or can I just walk up?

Walk-ups are always welcome! But if you're set on brisket, burnt ends, or Thursday turkey legs, call ahead at (469) 364-2980 and we'll set your order aside so it's ready when you pull up.

What day are the turkey legs?

Thursday. Juan's smoked turkey legs have their own following, and once they're gone, they're gone until next week. Come early or call ahead.

Do you really sell out?

Yes — everything comes off one pit, smoked fresh that day. We'd rather run out than serve reheated barbecue. Selling out early is common on Saturdays, so plan lunch over dinner if you want the full menu.

How long is the wait?

Most orders are boxed within 5–10 minutes at the window. Around weekend lunch rush it can stretch a bit longer — calling ahead skips the line entirely.

What's on the menu?

Post-oak smoked brisket, St. Louis ribs, smoked turkey legs, sausage stuffed with cheese, pit ham, burnt ends, chopped brisket sandwiches, loaded baked potatoes, and home-style sides — charro beans, mustard potato salad, coleslaw, and sweet cornbread. Do you cater? Is there a minimum?

Absolutely — catering is a big part of what we do. Weddings, company lunches, graduations, church events, you name it. Most events land between $14–$22 per person depending on meats and sides; small drop-off orders are welcome too. Call (469) 364-2980 with your date and headcount and we'll build a quote.

How far will you travel for catering?

We regularly serve Lavon, Wylie, Rockwall, Sachse, Rowlett, Garland, Murphy, Princeton, Farmersville, Fate and Heath. Farther out in the DFW area? Ask — for the right event, the pit travels.

What payment do you take?

Card and cash at the window. For catering we can invoice.

Is there seating?

We're a food truck, so seating is limited — most folks grab and go, tailgate it, or take it home. Everything is packed to travel.

How do I find out where you'll be for events?

Follow our Facebook page — we post schedule changes, event appearances, and sell-out alerts there first. The announcement bar on this site carries the big ones too.
